About The Show
Expect magic right under your nose. This isn’t a stage show – it’s intimate, interactive, and packed with impossible moments that unfold just inches away.
Each performance is hosted by Professor Magnus Thorne – a curious Victorian magician who claims to have stumbled into the modern age via a misfiring time machine. With charm, dry wit, and a glint of mischief, he invites his audience to join him on a journey through sleight of hand, strange artefacts, and curious tales from across time.
The show is a fast-paced 35-minute experience, carefully crafted for modern audiences who want something different. You’ll laugh, gasp, and maybe even question reality – all within arm’s reach of the magic.
The experience takes place in a tucked-away chamber inside The Duke of York pub – a cosy, atmospheric space perfect for this one-of-a-kind magical encounter.
